How Are The Tags Created?
Custom logo tags are created using a diamond drag tool that engraves the surface without displacing the metal. The advantage of engraving a tag over stamping is the ability to engrave on both sides if desired. Since stamping displaces the metal and goes deeper than an engraving tool, having your logo on both sides of a tag is much harder. Be careful though! The engraving can be damaged or removed if you sand or polish over the surface. This is a subtle technique, so the engraving does not deeply penetrate the surface. If your pieces are oxidized you can use liver of sulphur on the tags, though it will not give a high contrast result.

Step 2: Submit a Graphic
To start your custom engraving project, we need your logo graphic file for artwork set up. There is an artwork set up fee of $25. We will send you photos via email of the sample engravings for approval. Note that all tags are very small. Simple graphics work best. We suggest initials, a short word, or very simple logo designs. Detailed graphics will not look good when scaled down to fit on tags. We require a consultation call with our service team before we send graphics on to produce proofs. Please schedule your call when you submit your artwork.
Step 3: Approve Your Proof
Once you approve a proof, you are ready to order and re-order logo tags whenever you need them. Engraving fees are in addition to the cost of the logo tag blanks and are tiered by quantity level. The minimum order is 100pcs per tag. Using the chart below, a 100pc order would incur $35.00 in engraving fees plus the cost of the stock items.
